The DayQuest Design

 

Nestled in the Historic Hyde Park neighborhood DayQuest has the feel of home. Our child care program provides a host of services to accommodate the varied needs of different families. DayQuest Custom Care Infant program accepts children as young as six weeks old and continues that care through school age children with our Before and After School Care. Located in a home setting allows us to appreciate the uniqueness of each child and facilitate his or her individual needs. Nutritious meals are prepared daily, with close attention to each child's specific dietary needs and restrictions. Our developed curriculum broadens the minds of young ones and allows them to explore and roam in this exciting new world. Rich daily immersions in science and art are key elements to our design.

Custom Infant Care

 

Every mom would stay home with her newborn if she could. Unfortunately most moms in today's society must often return to work soon after her newborn arrives. DayQuest is here to support families with this transistion. Infants as young as six weeks old will receive an extension of their parents arms. Infants are such fragile creatures and require a lot of personalized attention - our ratio of infants per adult is 2:1. We provide a personalized daily log to document important information families can review to get a snapshot of their child's day. Feedings; Naps; Diapering; Tummy Time; and temperament are logged daily and provided to families until your child reaches 18 months.

 

At DayQuest we believe in the fourth trimester and provide our infants with nurturing arms to be held and spoiled.  When you visit our Infant Custom Care you will be welcomed to a clean shoe free environment with soothing sounds of either classical or jazz music; which aid in stimulating an infant's brain development.  

 

Tots and Twos

 

Tots and Twos are often a burst of untamed energy. DayQuest Tots and Twos programs aids this energetic group in channeling this energy and excitement with a daily journey of exploration.

 

Each day children explore science or art activities. Using real scientific tools to conduct daily science experiments our children become familiarized with the Scientific Method. Our tots are eagerly excited as they explore various medias of art. Our daily schedule captivates the minds of our young explorers as they profit from music instruction; process based art; gardening; cultural exploration; cooking exercises; soccer; on site Yoga lessons and Spanish immersion classes. Our program sets the stage for a lifelong love of learning.

Preschool

 

What better way to explore the world than with friends! At DayQuest, we provide safe parameters to give children a sense of structure as they explore. Our inviting environment promotes our preschoolers throughout this journey.

 

The freedom of exploration doesn't end during Kindergarten prep. Kindergarten preperation provides our preschool group opportunities to follow specific instructions and gain important independence skills. During this adventure your child will be encouraged to find his voice by expanding his vocabulary. This voice will inspire your child to express himself, resolve his conflicts, and share stories about days at DayQuest.

 

Before and After Care

Scheduling conflicts between work and family can often weigh heavy on families. Our Before and After School Program is designed to ease some of these burdens.

 

After your little ones have started school, DayQuest provides a familiar small environment for your child. We aim to ease the stress and burdens from families. In aiding our families we work independently with each family to arrange a pick up time that matches their schedule and not demand them to meet ours.

 

Our program offers transportation to neighboring schools. We assist children with homework, and partner with parents to provide children with activites which stimulate and engage them.

Drop-In Care

Our Drop-In Care Program may be the solution your family needs for vacation and no school days. You simply must come and register. You can prepay and reserve child care days ahead of time or may call on the day child care is needed and check if we have availability for that day.To inquire more how the program works give us a call at 773-997-0999.

Transportation

In further assisting our parents, DayQuest partners with local transportation companies: to aid our families with shuttle services as they are needed
